Hello! Long time no see this blog. Today I’m going to introduce you about this book. The title is “Hollywood” of FACTFILES. This tells us the history of Hollywood like how to make Hollywood, which movie is first, who is the most popular actor in each time, and so on. First, I will tell you this outline.

Every year millions of people come from all over the world and look up at the famous sign “HOLLYWOOD”. Why do they come there? Hollywood is a famous and special place. A lot of people come to see the hand and foot prints outside Grauman’s Chanese Theatre. After visiting there, they go to Universal Studuios, and perhaps to see a movie star or two. Most of all, they come to be in the most famous place in movie history.

The first half of this story tell us the history of movie. The story of the moving picture began in the nineteenth century because a number of different invention appeared. Eadweard Muybridge made a moving picture of horse in Palo Alto. This is first movie. Of course, audiences couldn’t listen any voices. This was called “Kinetograph” and the “Kinetoscope”. However there were a big moving picture camera and the Kinescope projected the moving picture in a box, so only one person at a time could watch these pictures. The movie invention gradually improved and the showing time became long. At last, in 1923 the short movie which have voices and sounds was made.

Speaking of Hollywood, I remember some actors and actresses. This book say that the most popular actor in a long line of Hollywood actors is Charlie Chaplin. HE arrived Hollywood in spring of 1913and his film Making a Living came out in 1914. He was not only an actor but also he wrote stories and music for films, and he was a director! His sense of existence was soooo big! He was a first star of Hollywood.

Like this, this book tells readers some interesting story, so I wasn’t bored about reading this book. If you like watching movie, you should know this history, and I’m sure that you like this book too.

A Picture to Remember

    Today, I am going tell you about this book. The title is "A Picture to Remember".
I felt to hear the title in somewhere. Now, I will introduce this story.
     Cristina Rinaldi works for the Museo Nacional de Bellas Arts in Buenos Aires. She loves art and is happy with her life. Then one day she has a motorbike accident and can't remember some things. But there are two men who think she remembers too much, and they want to kill her before she tells the police what she saw.

BAD COMPANY

     Hello. Today, I will introduce this book. The title is "BAD COMPANY".
I'm tell you about this story.
     "I'm afraid I've got some bad news." said Detective Inspector Helen Shepherd, "We found a body on the beach this morning. We believe it is Claudia Engel. We also believe that someone murdered her," "What?" McNab's mouth fell open. "Claudia?" I don't believe it. It can't be true.
     This story is little complex, so I don't like this very much.

Apollo's Gold

    Hello. I choose this book as this week book because last week Arisa had read this and I this that this is interesting. The title is "Apollo's Gold".
    Liz studies and teaches archeology in Athens. She works hard and needs a holiday, so she goes to the beautiful and peaceful island of Sifnos. But the peace does not last long when a mysterious yacht arrives, one of the local men dies, and Liz becomes involved with some very dangerous people.
     This main character is very poor because some tragedy happened once. However she was brave. I didn't board when I read this book!  And this book most interesting which I read until now.

The Man from Nowhere

     Today, I am going to talk you about the book. The title is "The Man from Nowhere". I decided to this book because the title made me interest. So, I will tell you the story.
     A man is walking slowly in the desert. He is not wearing a shirt. The sun is on his back, which is burnt red. He cannot see, he cannot think. He does not know where he is or who he is. He only knows that he must keep moving, keep putting one foot in front of the other. Keep moving or die.
     This story is mystery but I think this story was not very good for me. It is because i didn't like very much😂

The double bass mystery

     Today, i am going to introduce a book. The title is "The double bass mystery".
First, I will tell you the story.
      Penny Wade is a musician. She is enjoying her first visit to Barcelona with her orchestra. But first her double bass is lost, and then someone with her orchestra dies. The police want to know what happened, and Penny's life changes as she also slowly learns the truth.
     Sometimes I confused because this book has a lot of characters. However It is the most interesting to read for me. I really recommend this book. If you have a opportunity to read this, please read this!!

SUPERBIRD

 Hello! I am going to tell you a book. This is "SUPERBIRD". I tried reading SF stories. Now, I will tell you this story.

 A spaceship crashes on a strange planet and everyone on it dies-exept for one person. She helps the people of the planet to build their own spaceship, and returns home in it. But when she is back home with her own people, the real trouble begins.

This story was written like interview. I don't used this style, it was little difficult to read. But this book funny!

Circle Games

     Today, I am going tell you about a book. The tittle is " Circle Games".　First, I will introduce the story.
     Five stories to make you smile-and think: a Chinese lion dancer turns round and round; an old wooden wheel sits on an English pub wall; an American teenager makes a new wheel for a car; a bicycle taxi driver in Singapore helps sick girl; and an English student finds a strange, and very old, disc.
     I'm sorry that I don't install a picture of this book. This story is so active and interesting. But I could not understand the end of this story because this is not clear. (Maybe I am a girl😋 )

One Day

     Today, I am going to tell you about "One Day".
This book sets in an apartment, so this has some short story about each rooms.
I will talk you about this story.
     It was just a normal Friday evening in Moreland Road. Jason's mother was calling him, but he was listening to music. Nina had some news but wasn't sure how to tell her husband about it. Maggie had a smile on her face as she thought about her holiday in Chile. Sam looked a bit worried but then Sam always looked worried. That evening something happened which changed all of their lives.
     I felt the this book is easy because there are short story!! When you don't have enough time to read, I recommend this book!!

Logan's Choice

     Hi✋✋ I have a book that I recommend to you.  This is "Logan's Choice".
This is mystery story.
     "I am Inspector Logan of the Edinburgh police." Jenny said. "I am very sorry about the death of your husband." Who killed Alex? His friend, his wife or her brother? It is not easy, but Logan has to choice.
     As the synopsis said, this story is difficult to understand because there are a lot of characters. However, this book don't have difficult English words, so I think that you can read quickly😁

Dead Cold

     Hi😀
Now I am going to tell you about "Dead Cold".
     A dead girl is found in a swimming pool in Pine Crest, USA. She'S Janine, a 23 years old student who wanted to write for a newspaper. Detective Flick Laine has to find the killer. But first she must find out the big story Janine was working on before her death.
     This story have a lot of characters, so I was confusing. And I couldn't understand the last scene. So if you this book, you have to read with much time.

Within High Fences

     Hello!! I had not visited this blog for a long time. Today, I will talk you about a book. The title is "Within High Fences". I am going tell you this story.
     "There was nothing different about that night. It was the same as every other night, I thought. But that night, my life started to change. I didn't know it then, but it now." It's the night when Nancy meets George. But it is not easy for them to be together. There's Nancy's job and her boyfriend. And will George have to return to his own country.
     I think that this main story is relationship of woman and man, so this is little scary💦 This book don't have difficult words. If you have time, please read this book!!

BR2-14 Love or Money

     Today, I 'm going to tell you this book. The title is " Love or Money?"  I was fascinated by this title. 
     It is Molly Clarkson's fiftieth birthday. She is having  party. She is rich, but she is having a small party - only four people. Four people, however, who all need the same thong: they need her money. She will not give them the money, so they sre waiting for her to die. And there are othre people who are also waiting for her to die. But one person can't wait. And so, on her fiftieth birthday, Molly Clarkson is going to die.
     This book let me consider about money. I am sure that I like this book the best.  I recommend this book.

BR2-13 The PIANO

     Hello!! Today, I'm going to introduce you about this book. The title is "The Piano". I think this story is very famous, so I will tell you this story.
     One day, a farmer tells a farm boy to take everything out of an old building and throw it away. " It's all rubbish." he says. In the middle of all the rubbish, the boy finds a beautiful old piano. he has never played before, but now, when his fingers touch the piano, he bagins to play. He closes his eyes and the music comes to him - and the music movies his fingers. When he opens his eyes again, he knows that his life is changed for ever.
     I was impressed by this story because I used to be play the piano.  In this story, connection of hunan relations and music. If you have tine, please read this book.

BR2-12 Kings and Queens of Britain

" But- is she very important?" (P.1)

     Today, I am going introduce you about an interesting book! The tittle is " Kings and Queens of Britain " . I'm interested in the history of U.K., so I rent this book. Then I will tell you about the story.
     This is the story of Boudicca, Alfred, Henry and many other kings and queens, some great, some not so great. Each of them changed the history og Britain. But to become queen in 1558, like Elizabeth I, was a very different thing to becoming queen in 1953, like Elizabeth Ⅱ. They have the same name, but the job is very different. This book tells us just how it has changed.
     This book is written about the British history easily. And This book don't have difficult English words. if you are interest in the history, I want you to read this!

BR2-11 Remember Miranda

     Today I am going to introduce you " Remember Miranda". I was interest this tittle in the library, so I rent this. Then, I will tell you about this story.
     Cathy Wilson is driving to Northfork, to begin her new job with the Harvey family. She is going t look after the two young children. Tim and Susan. Cathy meets the children's father, and therir grandmother, and their aunt. She meets Nick, the farmer who lives across the fields. But she doesn't meet Miranda., the children's mother, because Miranda is dead. she died two years ago, and cathy cannot learn anything about her. Everybody remembers Miranda, but nobody wants to talk about her.
     I was impressed by their love about family after I finished reading this.

BR2-10 The Phantom of the Opera

     Hello!!

     Today, I am going to introduce you about this book. The tittle is " The Phantom of the Opera" This is famous story in the world and I like this very much. However, I have read this story in English at the first time. Then, I will tell you this story.

     It is 1880, in the Opera House in Paris. Everybody is talking about the Phantom of the Opera, the ghost that lives somewhere under the Opera House. The phantom is a man in black clothes. He is a body without a head, he is a head a body. He has a yellow face, he has no nose , he has black holes for eyes. Everybody is afraid of the Phantom- the singers, the dancers, the directors, the stage workers... But who has actually seen him?

     This story is very interesting!!  This book don't have difficult English words. 

I recommend this!
